Prof. N. Sheela
Principal

Prof. N. Sheela is a highly accomplished and dedicated nursing professional with an extensive experience in the field of nursing education and administration. She has been working as Principal for the past 20+ years and  currently serves as the Principal of KIMS (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences) College of Nursing, located in KIMS Hospitals, Secunderabad. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. She further pursued her Master of Science in Nursing from Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai. She has played a pivotal role in establishing several nursing programs at various institutions across different states in India. She has been appointed as an Ad-hoc Inspector for the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, and Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. Additionally, she serving as a member of the Board of Studies for Dr. NTRUHS and KNRUHS and as a program coordinator for various nursing programs at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Regional Centre, Hyderabad. She oversees the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (PBBSN), Diploma in Nursing Administration (DNA), and Diploma in Critical Care Nursing (DCCN) programs, ensuring their smooth functioning and quality delivery. Prof.M.Jayalakshmi
Vice - Principal

Prof.M.Jayalakshmi has 23 years of experience in academics and administration. She currently serves as Vice Principal of KIMS (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences) College of Nursing, located in KIMS Hospitals, Secunderabad. She holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. She further pursued her Master of Science in Nursing from SVIMS, Tirupati. She has achieved Ph.D. in Nursing from Mahatma Jyothi Rao Phoole University, Jaipur.  Her vast experience and leadership skills have played a crucial role in the growth and success of the institution. She efficiently manages the daily operations of the nursing college, ensuring a conducive learning environment for students and fostering a culture of excellence. Additionally, her association with IGNOU and involvement showcases her versatility and willingness to explore diverse teaching opportunities. She had been SNA advisor for nursing students, organized various programmes of SNA & NSS. She also served as a reviewer for nursing textbooks and articles published in nursing journals. She has been appointed as an internal and external examiner for graduate and post-graduate nursing programmes by DR.NTR and KNRUHS. Ms. Indumathy Kuthati

Ms. Indumathy Kuthati currently associated as a Professor & HOD Department of Community Health Nursing at KIMS College of Nursing, Secunderabad. She holds B.Sc. Nursing from Dr. NTRUHS and has done her M.Sc. Nursing Specialty in Community Health Nursing from RGUHS Karnataka. Ms. Indumathy Kuthati is a highly accomplished and respected professional in the field of Community Health Nursing. With two decades of teaching experience, she has contributed significantly to the education and training of nursing students. Guided graduate nursing students from Toronto University, Canada. Served as a paper setter for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students and an Examiner at various universities. She had an active participation in International and National Conferences, Workshops, Seminars, and Journal Club Presentations and engaged in Continuous Nursing Education (CNE) programs. She has published an article and holds the position of Research Guide for PG & UG Students. She has completed MOOC courses from reputed foreign universities. Passionate about knowledge acquisition and sharing, aiming for excellence in nursing and healthcare. Ms.Chandralekha.G designated as Professor at KIMS College of Nursing, Secunderabad. She is graduated from Dr.NTRUHS and has done her Post Graduation from Meenakshi University, Chennai. Ms. Chandralekha is the State Coordinator for the Society of Cardiac Nurses of India, Andhra Pradesh state and is an Active Coordinator for the IAP NNP Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Andhra Pradesh state and successfully trained numerous nurses in neonatal care since 2014. She is an astute performer with 18 years of experience in the field of academics, training nurses of various categories. Ms. Chandralekha G has also made significant contributions to the academic boards of various Universities, demonstrating her commitment to the development and improvement of nursing education at the university level.
